I interviewed for a Technical Lead position. It started with a phone screen with a senior engineer. After that, they flew me from LA to SF for the next rounds. I met with senior software engineers, managers, and the VP of Engineering. The final interview was with the VP of Engineering. Since they were interested in my Performance Engineering work, the interviews mostly focused on that.

The process started with a recruiter call. Then, I went through two phone screens, as I was considered for two roles. After clearing those, I was invited for an onsite interview. I met with four people, including one of the hiring managers. One interview covered my past experience, the technologies I've used, and agile methodologies, with no technical questions. The second interview involved a whiteboard coding problem, which was quite intensive. In the third round, I was asked some SQL questions and then presented with a piece of groovy code to identify design flaws. The final round with the hiring manager included a design question and another whiteboard coding challenge. The interviews ran from about 10 am to after 2 pm, and I felt a break would have been nice.

Applied online for a Java Senior developer role and the interview process was quick. First, a phone screen that was just a conversation about my current project's roles and responsibilities and what I'm looking for in a new position. A couple of days later, I was called in for a 4-hour in-person interview. At the very end, they mentioned they were actually seeking someone with Scala experience.
