Quality Analyst
The interview process was long and could have been handled better. The computer-based test felt like a formality, with most of the 40 candidates passing. There were a lot of technical issues with the online test. Many questions seemed off for the role. The quality of the computer-based test needs improvement. The interview started on November 26th at Godrej 1, Vikhroli-E, Mumbai, with reporting at 8 am and a presentation at 8:30 am for an hour. The rounds included: Round 1: Online Computer Based Test (CBT) by MeritTrac (30 Questions in 30 minutes) with options for HP-QC/Functional Testing or Automation Testing. Round 2: L1 - Technical Round -1 and L2 - Technical Round -2. Round 3: L3 - Managerial Round. Waiting time between rounds was 2 hours, but snacks were provided. My L1 was at 11:30 am, and my L3 was at 4:30 pm. I waited for CBT results until 5:30 pm.
- Tell me about Manual Testing concepts.
- What are your thoughts on Agile?
- Can you explain the STLC process?
QA Engineer
The company's interview process was quite disappointing. They scheduled the interview for 8:30 AM but made candidates wait for 1.5 to 2 hours. Following this long wait, there was a 15-20 minute company branding presentation, which felt like an attempt to imitate top tech companies, but the execution was poor. Candidates had to repeatedly inquire about their turn. The process seemed disorganized, and most interviewees were frustrated. A non-technical interviewer conducted the technical round, searching for questions online in front of me and asking for basic SQL queries. Ultimately, I was rejected for an unclear reason. My advice: avoid using consultancies, as they can ruin your day and mood.
- Can you explain how to verify and assert?
- Write a query to find the highest salary of an employee.
- What are the different types of Selenium locators?
QA Manager
The interview experience was really bad and a complete waste of time. The person interviewing me seemed completely uninterested. Even though I answered all the questions with examples and got good feedback at the end, I was rejected two days later. Honestly, after reading employee reviews, I suspect that many of the long-term employees feel insecure and don't want to hire people who are more capable than them.
- Can you walk me through your typical daily tasks as a QA Manager?
- Could you share your experience with team management and leadership?
