Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TIAA.
Financial Analyst
3 rounds of interview. First two are technical and third is discussion. Friendly interviewers and it's all via zoom call. But they keep you hanging for a week after each interview so very slow process.
- Could you describe IFRS?
- Can you explain the basic accounting principles?
- What is the accrual concept?
Financial Analyst
I got referred by someone who works here so I had an HR phone screen and then two in person interviews that were each 1-1.5 hours long. You pretty much work with your HR recruiter for the whole thing; they handle all the scheduling and stuff about salary requirements. The whole thing was super smooth. The best way to get a job is an employee referral, so check your network.
- Were the interview questions technical or behavioral?
Financial Analyst
So the recruiter hit me up first on the phone, and then they're gonna set up a panel interview with the managers where I applied. Panel interview got scheduled, I'm waiting on call back based on the panel interview. Then they started the background employee check while I was waiting to hear back from the panel interview. The recruiter I first spoke to reached out to me.
