I applied online and went through about a month-long process with 3 interviews in total. It started with a recruiter chat, then I spoke with the manager, and finally a team member. I'd say the difficulty was medium.

So the interview process was pretty smooth, it kicked off with a recruiter call. After that, I had a 45-minute joint meeting with the hiring manager and the director. Then, about a week later, I did a 3-hour virtual onsite with a few different people. The HR team was great throughout, totally worked with my crazy schedule and even split that last big call into two. Everything was done over Zoom. I also had to do a take-home assignment that took me about 1.5 hours. The recruiter was really good about keeping me updated on timing and what was next, even with some delays, she was super communicative and honest. Honestly, this was the first time I didn't have to wonder what was going on or feel ghosted! The offer call even came early! They were all super professional and respectful, which really showed the company culture and helped me decide to accept.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It started with a chill recruiter call discussing my background and potential fit. Next, I talked to the hiring manager, but the energy was off from the jump; felt like she wasn't really into it. Plus, she didn't have her camera on, which felt less personal, even though I'm fine with cameras being off generally. The questions were mostly "technical," digging deep into measurement methods, which felt more like a data science gig than media. A weird "gotcha" question was asking me to teach something in under 3 minutes and then list the top 3 takeaways. While I get it might test communication and strategic summary skills, it felt unnecessary. That second interview really put me off the role and team, making me question if I'd continue even if offered.
