I interviewed with the recruiter, and I was referred by someone important. The recruiter just asked me what salary I wanted. It was super easy, and I thought I had the job in the bag. But then the recruiter ghosted me, and I found out I didn't get it. It was surprising because I know people who got hired there before, and I know a lot of people who work at Thrive. It's probably for the best since they've had a lot of layoffs, and I don't want to go through that.

The hiring process with ThriveDx was unexpectedly brief. After an initial Zoom call with the recruiter on Friday, which felt positive, the recruiter expressed enthusiasm and promised to follow up via email to arrange the next interview. I promptly replied with my availability. However, despite my quick response, I received no further communication. Following the weekend, I reached out again to inquire about scheduling, but again, received no response. It's now been nearly two weeks since that initial interview, and I still haven't heard back. It felt like a waste of time and a rather disrespectful way to treat candidates.

I had three interviews for this role. First, I spoke with the recruiter, then with the National Coach, and finally with the Career Services Director. All of these conversations were really informative and I enjoyed them. Everyone was friendly and made me feel really comfortable. It genuinely felt like they were interested in getting to know me and ensuring I understood the position. This was one of the best interview experiences I've had, honestly. The recruiter was also super helpful in letting me know what to expect and how to get ready.

Behavioral Technical Other

It started with a recruiter call, which was pretty straightforward and pleasant. After that, I had to respond to some scenario-based questions in writing, with a couple of days to complete them. The next stage involved a conversation with the hiring manager, focusing on broader concepts. The final round was a panel interview with three people who asked both standard and behavioral questions, so I made sure to provide plenty of examples. Being a startup, you need to be okay with uncertainty and a fast-paced work environment. I got the offer within 2-3 weeks.
