Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Thrive LA.
Account Manager
The company has a phased interview approach. You'll likely start with about twenty to thirty candidates. While interviews are individual, you need to demonstrate a strong work ethic and quick learning ability to make it into the next training class. The interviewers were direct and professional when I asked them things.
- What do you consider your greatest professional strength?
Account Manager
I got a strong sense of community from the staff during my interview, and they seemed pretty excited about the company's market position and future direction. The managers I spoke with were open about their aggressive expansion goals and the kind of people they need to meet them. I asked them about compensation, PTO, benefits, etc. They also gave me a rundown on the day-to-day job and its responsibilities, which was very transparent.
- Have you managed teams before?
Account Manager
So I applied and they had me do a phone interview, then I had to submit some video responses to some questions. I thought it was a cool idea. Then the CEO called me for another phone interview.
