First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Thrive LA.
Sales Account Executive
They hire everyone at the same entry-level position and expect them to work their way up, with no outside hires. The pay was advertised as 46k base + commission, but during the second interview, it was revealed that the base pay is actually 36k, with the average salesperson making 46k. The role involves getting businesses to sign up for Amazon Business accounts, and then you earn a commission on their purchases through that account for the first 30 days. The first interview covers your resume and provides more details about the role. The second interview is with the Director of the branch, who focuses on personal questions about your life and upbringing, essentially doing a vibe check rather than discussing your resume. They do not offer benefits like medical or dental, which was surprising when I inquired. I received an offer but declined due to having a degree and the potential to secure a more competitive offer elsewhere. For those without a degree, this could be a viable entry-level option to gain experience.
- Did you participate in any sports or activities during high school?
Account Executive
It was a quick two-round interview process. The first interview is a video recording where you're asked questions and have a specific time to answer. The second interview is with a current employee who will tell you about the position and your day-to-day responsibilities.

I used DigitalHire and it was great! It really let me show my personality and my potential based on what they asked. They made it super easy to demonstrate what I could bring to the company!
