The whole thing took about 4-5 weeks. I liked that they kept me in the loop weekly. The interviewers asked some good questions and made me feel like this place and job were really worth going for.

The interview process was pretty standard. It was an initial interview over the phone. Although my interviewer was a few minutes late for the scheduled call I didn't make much of it. At the conclusion of the call, I was given a trial assignment to complete within a few business days. Now I know that some businesses find this necessary even though they can clearly look through your portfolio to see what type of work you can perform but I digress. After submitting the assignment. I sent 2 follow-up emails within a reasonable amount of time just to show my genuine interest still in the position. Absolutely no correspondence whatsoever after submitting the assignment. This was in October and never heard back regarding it. For future reference, if an applicant takes their time to do an assignment during the interview process, it would be helpful to let them know at least upon review that you wouldn't be moving forward with them in the process instead of ghosting them. Sometimes an applicant may not be a fit which happens, but a certain level of professionalism would have been appreciated.

I had a 30-minute phone chat where they mentioned I had the skills for 4 jobs. Then I got an email saying they don't have a perfect fit for me at Thrasio right now. The Sr. Art Director job has a finalist, so I wouldn't get to interview for it anyway. They think my experience is great for the Packaging Designer role, but it's in Houston and I'd have to relocate. They appreciated me taking the time and wished me luck.
