So, heads up on the job you're applying for, because it's kinda like a bait and switch. A territory sales manager role here is basically just running appointments yourself. They try to disguise it under different names too, like "garage and basement guru" or "existing customers sales rep." The interview process usually kicks off with a call from HR, then the next week you talk to a sales manager, and the third week, another sales manager. Honestly, most good salespeople have already landed something by the second week.

They have NO respect for you or your time. I scheduled an interview for 2pm-2:30pm. They sent 3 text messages, 2 emails and 1 phone ALL confirming the 2-2:30pm time frame. I show up prior to 2pm and am told that it's first come first serve interviews...and there is 20 people ahead of me. Any company that starts off by LYING to you and no respecting your time? How do you think they treat their employee's? Also After reading reviews, one mentioned needing to buy a $1,500 computer out of pocket to begin work...they confirmed when I called that this purchase was in fact needed. They promised to send the requirements of the computer prior to my interview...guess what? They never did. Shocked. Lastly, I noticed most of the good reviews all had very similar wording and their yelp reviews are horrible. You can do the math but we all know what that means.

The interview process was easy. They were pretty quick to get me in and flexible. The interviewer was kind and knew the job. The pay was a lot lower than expected. The phone screener didn't mention the starting pay of $20/hr. I was surprised, and she could tell. She offered $22/hr and asked my previous salary. She said she'd check if she could get the starting pay higher. She mentioned the recruiter would call that afternoon. It's been over a month, and I haven't heard back. I couldn't contact anyone. I'm disappointed because I was told I'd be contacted by that afternoon, but no one did.

Overall, it was a thorough and polite interview process. They asked relevant questions about the job and my skills, keeping a friendly and relaxed vibe. The interview started on time, and the interviewer seemed genuinely curious about my abilities and what I could bring to the company. They clearly explained the job expectations and what my daily tasks would involve. I finished the interview with a good understanding of all aspects of the role and what comes next.
