Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Thornton Tomasetti.
Intern
I was reached out via email for a zoom meeting. It was with an architect and an engineer. They got back to me quickly about the next steps. They were friendly and explained the job well. They were professional and answered my questions about the company.
- What are your interests?
- Can you tell me about your past experiences?
Intern
Had an online meeting with a engineer. They asked me some questions about myself and my work experience. It was for a summer internship, but they didn't seem too impressed that my work experience was only summer internships.
- How can you add value to our team?
Intern
I submitted an online application with my resume, and then they contacted me to set up the interview. Three current employees at TT interviewed me, one each from the Sustainability, Resilience, and Structural teams. The interview lasted about an hour, and they said I'd hear back about their decision within two weeks.
- What about resilience specifically sparks your interest?
