I was reached out via email for a zoom meeting. It was with an architect and an engineer. They got back to me quickly about the next steps. They were friendly and explained the job well. They were professional and answered my questions about the company.

The interview was in person, and I spoke with 3 team members. It seemed to go well, and there wasn't any technical testing. They mostly asked about stuff on my resume.

it was a pretty standard interview process, where they asked me some technical questions, and also some questions about why I decided to study structural engineering, and if I hadn't picked that, what else I might have gone for.

Technical Behavioral

I interviewed with one of the principals at the office. We had a good initial conversation where we got to know each other and talked about the industry and some general engineering concepts. They mentioned a decision would be made in a few weeks. After three weeks without hearing back, I sent a follow-up message and was told a decision still hadn't been made and they would let me know. It's now been over six weeks, and I still haven't heard anything. The principal was nice, but I don't understand why they wouldn't just tell me they were moving forward without me if that was the case. It's pretty disappointing and unprofessional, especially since this was my top choice and I had other offers pending. They didn't need to make excuses with every follow-up email. While I understand needing more time, almost 8 weeks with no communication is a long time. They also never asked any behavioral questions, such as about my strengths, weaknesses, or what classes I've taken. It was one of the most unusual interviews I've experienced.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Could you answer some basic statics questions on paper?
