First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Thirdware Solution.
Software Engineer
I had three rounds of interview. The first was a Technical interview focused on core Java skills, microservices, and tech from past projects, with scenario-based questions. The second was a Technical/Managerial interview, possibly including some coding. Finally, there was an HR discussion.
- Can you explain the differences between Multithreading concepts like yield, join, sleep, and wait?
- What are the differences between various Java Collections?
- How have you utilized Microservices in your previous projects?
Senior Software Engineer
There were 2 rounds in total, and both were face-to-face. The first round had one interviewer, and the second round had three interviewers. If you're really good at core JAVA and SQL, you should be fine.
- What are the main questions on core JAVA?
- Can you explain basic SQL questions?
- Could you explain comparable and comparator?
Software Engineer
First round was aptitude - simple quant and verbal questions, no sectional cutoff. Second round was Technical interview - honestly no technical questions, more like an HR interview, maybe because the job is for Business Intelligence which doesn't require much programming. They asked about my BE project and other simple stuff. Third round was Interview with management - this was too easy but I think I got nervous. He was just tricking me with silly questions, basically checking my attitude towards problems, which I think is unnecessary for a fresher. I mean, if I answered normally, it might sound back answering or arrogant, so I chose to give light answers.
- Why did you not consider taking your B.E. project to an industry level?
- Why are you not getting married now?
