The interview process started with a 1:1 chat with the Recruiter, followed by a 1:1 with the Director of PMO, and then another 1:1 with the PM Lead. After that, there were two written assessments. The final interview was a review of these written assessments with the Director of PMO and two PM Leads. Things got a bit confusing at Step #5 when I found out two more final candidates were added, making it four in total. I was initially told a decision would be made before Labor Day weekend. However, on the Wednesday before the holiday, the recruiter emailed me saying they were still interviewing other candidates and a decision would come early the next week. By Thursday, I hadn't heard anything, so I sent a follow-up. A rejection email arrived a few hours later with no explanation.

The hiring process was lengthy and seemed unhurried, with the job posting being taken down and then reposted, suggesting it had been active for a while. There were several weeks between initial contact and eventual ghosting.

The interviewer was nice and the questions were direct. I was told they were moving forward with people with more relevant 1 to 1 experience but to keep in touch. They value prior agency experience to make sure I'm aligned with their expectations.
