Research Assistant
First a phone call, then another phone call focused on behavioral questions that will decide if you qualify for the final zoom interview. The second interview can be dry and challenging, asking questions not just about yourself but also about the industry and market.
- Can you share an instance where you overcame a significant challenge?
- Describe a situation where you exceeded the expectations or goals set for you.
- What are your thoughts on the present market conditions?
Research Assistant
Had a video interview with one male interviewer. The interview was conducted in three languages. They asked about my motivation and industry knowledge. They also warned me about the lack of work-life balance and asked if I could manage in such an environment. The questions covered self-introduction, industry knowledge, details about work, the distribution for the job, and aspects of work environment and location.
- Tell me about yourself.
- What do you know about the industry?
- What are your thoughts on the work itself?
Research Assistant
Had a phone interview where they asked basic competence (S.T.A.R.) questions. It seemed like they interview a lot of people because the interviewer wasn't really engaged and was just going through a checklist. I didn't pass this stage because I lost interest after reading more about the firm before the interview.
- Can you provide an example of a time you worked in a team?
