Applied online back in April and then got a call in May from the DM, about a month later. The DM mentioned that the Mgr would be calling soon to set up an interview. Another week went by and we finally scheduled an interview. The interview went well. A week and a half later, I got a call to come in for another meeting with the DM. It's been 2 1/2 weeks since that meeting, and I haven't heard back. This is for a $12/hour assistant manager role. Honestly, if a company can't even fill a position in two months, I wouldn't want to work there.

I applied on a Monday and got a call on Thursday for an interview with the Store Manager. It was pretty straightforward, asking about my experience and then we did a role-play where I had to sell them an item. Then, on Saturday, I was called back for another interview the following Thursday with the District Manager. This one was also just basic questions and about retail knowledge. After that, they told me I was going through a background check. I got an offer letter on Friday morning.

Behavioral Other

I had a nice quick first chat with the store manager and then the district manager called me in for a second interview the next day. The second interview was weird and inappropriate. The DM, an older woman, asked me a lot of personal questions about my family, and even asked me, word-for-word, if I "liked my stepfather" (?). The whole second interview took less than twenty minutes. I never heard back from her.
