Country Manager
I applied online and heard back after a while. I went to Northwich for an interview. I met with 5 people with different roles. They asked similar questions. I felt good about it. After a week, I emailed them because I hadn't heard back and got a rejection. It seems they don't consider candidates' time and money spent on interviews. They didn't even reply. I was very interested, but now I'm glad I didn't get an offer. Their management, coordination, and humility are lacking. Be very prepared if you go there. They want you to solve their problems during the chat, which happens on a sofa, not even an office. They'll ask about the brand, problem-solving, and current issues. You can find MyProtein's problems with a quick search, but they expect you to know private info. People don't stay long there, and I can see why. Think twice before moving your life for them. You might go for nothing, not even a reply. Some questions were irrelevant, testing you on anything like they are gods. People don't stay long there, and I can imagine why. If you are thinking in changing all your life for working there, think about it twice! You may come from some far for NOTHING, not even a reply.
- Tell me what you know about the brand and if you've tried our products.
- How would you increase brand awareness? Discuss ambassadors and social media's role. Any specific ambassadors we should consider?
- What strategies can be used to increase perceived value while maintaining discounts?
Country Manager
I was contacted via LinkedIn, submitted my CV, and then had a couple of mostly informational Skype calls with the recruiter and divisional manager. After that, I was invited to the campus for an in-person interview. At campus, I met about 8 people who were involved in some capacity with the position or the divisions I'd be working in. These were one-on-one, pretty casual discussions, less of a formal interview. These included peer staff, HR/Recruiting, brand CEOs or upper management, etc. The office visit was nearly 6 hours long and involved a bit of waiting and wasted time because it wasn't so organized, but it was overall a decent experience. I left with a good impression and was told they'd be in touch.
- What are your strengths?
- Can you describe some successes from your previous role?
Country Manager
I applied online and was pretty quickly called in for a phone interview. After that, they invited me to come to the headquarters for a face-to-face interview. When I got there, an HR person greeted me and then I had several interviews with some of the middle managers. It was all pretty unpredictable, I didn't really know what to expect, but it was a good experience overall.
- What online marketing channels do you believe are most effective for Myprotein?
- In your opinion, how can Myprotein maintain its current high growth rates?
- Could you tell me about your most significant accomplishments?
