First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Thermo Systems.
Control Systems Engineer
First I had a call with HR, then a 40-50 min teams interview with the hiring manager. After that, I was invited on site for the final interviews where I met with a few different people, including the hiring manager. Overall it was a good experience.
- Tell me about your experience with control systems design.
- Can you go into more detail about your projects and answer some technical follow-up questions?
- Please solve these engineering problems for a technical quiz.
Account Manager
The interview process consisted of 4 interviews. The people were incredibly nice and seemed very passionate about the line of work. I'm looking forward to working with them. They have numerous projects to assist in and were able to move me to a potentially better project.
- Can you describe your experience with control systems?
Associate Project Manager
It was a great interview experience. The team was really friendly and relaxed, and they answered all my questions. It seems like a great place to work. The job looks challenging but offers a lot of room for growth, which is fantastic. Plus, there's a chance to get certifications.
- What makes you want to join this company?
CAD Operator
After applying, I got an email from the recruiter to schedule a phone interview. It went well, and they wanted a second interview over Microsoft Teams with my potential manager. Nothing seemed to happen until I followed up via email. The second interview was scheduled and went well, and I was asked for an on-site interview that they would set up. Again, nothing happened until I inquired if the interview was still happening. The third interview, which I thought went well, included a tour of the construction site where I'd be working half the time. They wanted a fourth interview and said they would set something up. I followed up twice, a week apart. They ghosted me and I haven't heard back since. A simple "No." would have been sufficient so I wouldn't waste time worrying about missing a call or email.
- Can you tell me about a time you made an error on a drawing?
