I applied for an internship. It mostly involved talking about my past experience and going deeper into resume points. I met a few team members who were all really chill. We had a call first, and then an in-person interview.

So, the interview process was like, a 4-step thing. First, an HR interview where they asked basic resume stuff and behavior questions. Then, an online assessment testing .NET/Python/OOO. After that, there was a panel interview with the development manager and two developers. Finally, I had an interview with the CTO. They laid out the whole process from the beginning, and it moved pretty fast after the initial HR chat. Honestly, I wouldn't stress too much about prepping for the online assessment; the questions were either about general programming principles or super specific, so general prep wouldn't really help. All in all, it was a nice interview experience. You still gotta know your stuff like data structures and complexity, but they weren't asking you to invert a binary tree on the spot or anything.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • What are the SOLID principles? And can you describe a project you've worked on?
  • What is the algorithmic complexity of searching a hash table?

I was referred to the position by a corporate recruiter. Initially had a very pleasant call with HR to discuss job requirements and HR explained the steps for the interview process. Few days later, I took an 1.5 hour online assessment using devskillers which was pretty easy. After that, I did not hear from HR for a few days and later found out from my corporate recruiter the initial salary range communicated by my recruiter to HR as well as my direct answer of salary range requirement during my initial HR call was not within the position's salary range. So why waste candidate's time and ask to complete the online assessment when the job was never a match in the first place.

  • Online technical assessment via devskillers.
