The HR person called me for the first interview. They asked me to introduce myself and some basic questions about my experience and sponsorship status. They let me know that they won't be able to offer any sponsorship.

The interview process has been really smooth. The recruiter explained all the steps, the expected timeline, and what I should prepare for. So far, the company seems very organized, and everyone I've met has been super welcoming.

It was a great 3 step process with really kind interviewers. I thoroughly enjoyed it. There were 2 zoom calls, one with the accounts management and one with the head of finance, and then 1 in person interview. It was a shame that my time was completely wasted because HR and CFO were planning on changing the job role but still brought me in for an interview anyway, which was the 3rd one. I am truly disgusted in the way my time was wasted, and I now have a really poor outlook on the company.

I applied on LinkedIn on a Friday and HR contacted me just 2 hours later, which made me think they were really interested. I had an interview scheduled for the middle of the week, at the end of the day. It was supposed to be 30 minutes with HR and then 30 minutes with the hiring manager. When I arrived, I had to fill out 7 pages of paperwork, which felt like a waste of paper and time since the info was already on my resume or could be done online. The HR interview was pretty standard and easy, no technical questions. After that, I was told to wait for the hiring manager, but after 5 minutes, HR came back and said the hiring manager had a last-minute meeting with the international team. It was weird because the hiring manager is senior level and they couldn't spare 30 minutes for an interview? HR said the assistant would reschedule, but they never did. I doubt it was anything I said since the hiring manager has the final say. I'm glad I know how dysfunctional it is now rather than after being hired. It seems odd if they can't manage their meetings properly.
