Sales Representative
The interview process from the get-go felt a bit off. It seemed like a computer-generated voice was speaking, not a real person. Also, it felt like the conversation was being recorded without me agreeing to it beforehand. Just a heads-up, be careful with this company.
- Can you discuss our website?
Technical Advisor
after passing an initial screening, I had to complete a multi-part online technical test. The first video interview was okay, but apparently ITSC has an employee pay model that goes against the Fair Labor Standards Act. They mentioned that the initial training is about 8-10 days and is unpaid (which is illegal), and that as hourly employees on a support team not assigned to a single client, I'd only be paid for time actively spent with clients at the full rate of $30.50 per hour. Time spent researching a client issue is paid at 75% of that rate (legally questionable), or if I'm on the clock during a shift with no work due to no fault of my own, I don't get paid at all (highly illegal). They justify this by saying it
- What is your knowledge of Active Directory and your experience level with it?
Client Account Representative
The hiring process at theITSupportCenter was disorganized and full of time-wasting tasks. Before the interview, I had to do an audio recording about my sales background and answer repetitive questions. During the interview itself, I was asked to do pointless exercises like selling a pen and guessing the number of people in a corporate office. When I asked the recruiter why these exercises were necessary, they couldn't give a good reason, showing how disorganized they are. Overall, my experience with theITSupportCenter was a waste of time, and I don't recommend applying there because their recruitment process is unprofessional and disrespectful of candidates' time.
- Sell me this pen.
- If you needed to determine the number of people inside a specific building, what questions would you pose?
Client Account Representative
The interview process was rewarding because I got to fully understand the company and the job requirements. It was a GREAT video interview because I didn't feel like just a number; I got to know the Hiring Manager and the exercises were fun and interactive. They shared all stages and expectations via email, and we discussed next steps before ending the first stage call and the second stage Zoom meeting. If you're excited about IT and want to keep growing financially (uncapped commissions) and professionally (growth opportunities), this is the job to interview for!!
- The Recruiting Managers emphasized the importance of knowing what the company does.
