I had an in-office interview. First, I met with HR, and then I visited 3 to 5 different offices for short chats with employees. They gave me an offer about two weeks later, and I was told it was down to me and one other candidate.

The two internship coordinators interviewed me and reviewed my portfolio. They were very helpful and answered all my questions about the company. They were also accommodating regarding the interns and their on-boarding process. The interviewers really focused on my skills and asked about my interests outside of work to get to know me as a person. Their focus is 'hiring people, not skills,' which was refreshing.

The recruiter was enthusiastic, and I interviewed with the Chief Creative Officer. It went well, but then I heard nothing back despite following up. Ghosting is a really bad recruiting practice. I think Omnicom might have bigger issues given the state of advertising and recent executive layoffs. It was a pretty negative experience.

Behavioral Presentation

I applied via LinkedIn. It was a pretty standard interview process. They mostly wanted to gauge my personality and people skills. I was told to wear bright colors and have some media background knowledge. I had an initial chat with HR, and then I spoke with several supervisors about my career history and education.
