Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Warehouse.
Cashier
It was pretty easy, just standard interview questions. They took me upstairs to the office where two people were interviewing me, one was asking the questions and the other was taking notes. They asked about my availability, including holidays, and my skills, and what words describe me etc.
- Can you tell me about your relevant experience?
Cashier
I had a brief 15-minute chat with the manager. It was pretty chill, and they were cool and took their time with me. I was asked about my reliability, how I'd handle an angry customer, and if I'm a team player.
- What's your approach to dealing with a customer who's upset?
Retail Assistant
The interview process was lengthy but the questions were standard. My interviewer was unprofessional and unfriendly, which made me uncomfortable and impacted my ability to answer questions effectively.
- What makes you the best candidate among the others applying for this role?
