First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Very Group.
Design Manager
I had a call with the team, set up by the recruiting team, after I sent in my CV and cover letter online. It was a long call, a bit over an hour, but they really dug deep. I got some good feedback even though I didn't end up getting the job.
- Are you available to work in the London office?
Senior Manager
The interviews with the hiring managers were nice and relaxed. I got to the final round but never heard back. It's okay if they went with someone else, but not getting any response at all was really disappointing and not very professional. A quick update would have been great.
- What's your approach to managing difficult stakeholders?
Delivery Manager
It was a really thorough interview that tested my skills with a scenarios-based format. The people were great and patient. They answered all my questions clearly at the end and I didn't feel rushed at all.
- What's your motivation for wanting to join The Very Group?
