First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The VA Group.
Administrative Assistant
The initial application was super simple and quick to fill out. The interview process itself was thorough yet felt really comfortable and personal. Ms. Elchi went through my resume and checked each of my qualifications and past experiences. During our chat, she told me about the company's culture and values, and she invited me to ask anything about the job. She also had a really nice and welcoming way of speaking, which made me feel relaxed.
- Am I able to work with UK clients who have a different time zone?
Administrative Assistant
It was thorough and concise. Had a lengthy interview but I appreciate what Elchi did because no stone was left uncovered. Thankful as well for how quick the process was from the time I submitted my resume to the interview process. No time wasted.
- Elchi asked for my job experience.
- Are you okay with the rate?
- Are you okay with the set-up?
Administrative Assistant
The interviewer tried to discredit my experience and CV, not asking questions relevant to the job. I answered, but they kept sounding disapproving. I was disappointed. Isn’t it the recruiter’s job to ask questions? Why make derogatory statements?
- So you're just a scheduler?
