Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The UPS Store.
Customer Service Associate
This was a pretty quick interview process, though it really depends on the specific store and the manager(s) in charge. Since the stores are franchised and owned independently, you'll likely only have one interview, with two being the most common. Overall, it's a fairly easy process.
- Can you explain how your past experience aligns with the requirements of this position?
- Do you have the capacity to fulfill all the duties outlined in the job description?
Customer Service Associate
The interview process was disorganized and gave me a bad impression of the company. Since each location is independently operated, the experience can vary depending on the owner, but I had to wait so long that I almost left before being called back.
- What makes you want to be employed by this organization?
Customer Service Specialist
The interview was pretty easy. They first did a phone interview, and then I came in for a face-to-face interview with the store manager on the same day. I didn't meet the owners until about a week later. My training was handled by another sales associate named Kelly, and I didn't spend much time with the store manager or the owners. All of my training was done by Kelly.
- Tell me about your work experience.
- How do you feel about using certain equipment?
