First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The So Cal Group.
Account Executive
I saw the job posting on LinkedIn and applied. I was contacted quickly after applying and they asked if I could come in for an interview the next day. When I got there, there were several other people also interviewing, which made for an awkward waiting period. The interview process was pretty straightforward, no real surprises. I was contacted later that day to come back for a follow up the next day. As part of the follow up, I spent a day shadowing one of the employees. I think that this was a really good way for me to see if this was a good career fit for me. The job is very sales focused. If you are willing to put in the effort, the employees all seemed pretty happy with the results. I just didn't feel like it was a good fit for me.

Account Executive
I chatted with HR on the phone and they were pretty straightforward about the job and company. Then, I had a video interview with some of the team members, saw the office, and got a vibe for the role. After that, I went in person for a second interview where I learned a lot about the company, clients, the job itself, and the culture.

Account Executive
I applied to jobs online and didn't hear back initially. Then The SoCal Group contacted me. The recruiter was friendly and described an interesting opportunity. The first interview was straightforward. The second round was really insightful; I got to shadow for a full day to see what the daily work would be like, which I appreciated because it showed me firsthand what the job entails. After that, I met with the manager again for a few more questions. Overall, it was a great experience and I'm excited about the possibility of working there!
- Could you share a couple of leadership strengths that would benefit our team?
