It was a simple screening interview. They asked standard questions like 'Tell me about yourself' and 'Why do you want to work with us?'. Then there were questions about my background and a short story about the company. They also asked about the onsite work in Modesto.

I got a call for some pre-interview questions from HR and the hiring manager for a Project Manager role, considering I have over 20 years of PM, SOX and Green Belt experience. They asked me to come in the next day, but before the interview, I had to go to another location to take a computer-based test that lasted about 2 hours. It was like one of those government assessment personality tests, but with a lot of fraction math, though a calculator was provided. I've taken similar tests before with the county and passed. Then I went to the corporate office for the interview, and the questions were pretty standard for a PM position. At the end, they mentioned they were also considering internal candidates. When that's said, I know as an external candidate I'm not really being considered, and they're just doing it to meet EEOC requirements and stay legal.

This is my first post and the interview was a while back. I just have a general complaint about the interview process in general and this is a good example of it. I was asked to interview for the position. Of course the salary is not posted and you're not supposed to ask, right. I take the time to go through three interviews with various different people. I was offered the job but the pay (revealed to me after the last interview) was not nearly what I had expected. Since the job required more hours my salary worked out to be less per hour. Anyway, they didn't want to negotiate and I just felt like I wasted a lot of time and aggravation. I had another three interviews at another company and after the last interview, which I thought went very well, I never heard from them. I had to contact them to see what the decision was. Just thought that was rude. I stood on my head to make it to these interviews and to not even notify me that I didn't get the position. They also never mentioned the salary. So I guess my points are 1. Post the salary range for the postion 2. Have the courtesy to notify the candidate if they didn't get the position. Anyway, thanks for listening.

I got a call about a week after I applied online. They asked me to come in for an interview 4 days after that call. I interviewed with the store manager and the center manager. They asked general questions about how I'd handle certain situations and what I've done in the past, like with teamwork. The interview was pretty relaxed and I felt good about it, but I didn't get an offer in the end.
