Site Merchandiser
First, I got a link to take the Predictive Index assessment, but it turned out the interviewer hadn't even reviewed it, so I'm not sure why they sent it beforehand. A few days after I finished it, I got an email for a phone screening, and they kept asking me to complete the Predictive Index in every email. The phone screening lasted about 30 minutes. It felt like I did okay, but the interviewer was a bit hard to connect with. I appreciated that she followed through on the timeline she gave for hearing back, but ultimately it was a rejection. I suspect they aren't really looking to hire for this role. Another review mentioned this position has been open for a long time, which makes me think they either have super high standards, are trying to mislead current employees, or just want to appear like they're expanding. The interviewer mentioned this was a newly created role, but others are already doing the work, which, combined with the long listing time, suggests they aren't serious about hiring. They seem content with others handling the duties, and you'd probably need to be way overqualified to get this job if they ever decide to hire. The interviewer didn't ask questions that indicated they were looking for someone to own GA4 and data, as another review suggested.

Ecommerce Merchandiser
The recruiter reached out after finding me on Indeed. The whole process was fast. There were only two stages: the first was with the recruiter, and the second was with the recruiter and the head of eCommerce. It was all very conversational and pretty easygoing. The position has been open for a while, and I think they're looking for someone who can take ownership of GA4 and has a lot of experience working with it to ensure clean data.
- What recommendations do you have for improving the website?
Pond Tech
The interview process started with a phone screen, then a Teams interview with the recruiter and trainer. Both of those went really well. The next step was a final interview with the owner and customer service manager, and they also asked for my references, and 3 people filled out surveys for each reference. The final interview felt off though, the energy was totally different. I have a lot of customer service experience and could have done this job easily, but the owner and customer service manager seemed disengaged. I don't usually think about race playing a role in bias, but after seeing on Glassdoor that most of their employees are white, I'm wondering if that's why I didn't get an offer. If so, I'm glad I didn't end up working there. It just doesn't make sense to have the exact same interview three times, including the same questions, then ask for references, and then not offer the job. Just be aware that your time might be wasted interviewing.

Customer Service Representative
I applied via Indeed and didn't use a cover letter or do extra assessments. Got a voicemail asking me to call back for a phone interview. The scheduler was really nice and easy to talk to. The first phone interview was with the HR manager and it was good, I liked the vibe of the two women I spoke with. Then I had a second interview over Microsoft Teams. I wasn't nervous for the video interview and was looking forward to it. The two women I interviewed with on the video call had a different vibe. The main interviewer seemed to enjoy asking tough questions and watching my reaction. I think I answered okay, but she wasn't as warm as the first two ladies. It felt like she only wanted to find flaws instead of looking at strengths. It felt very negative and I left confused and disappointed. I'm not sure what they were looking for in a candidate for what seemed like a customer service job involving phone, email, and chat.
