Sales Development Representative
The interview process for this role felt really disorganized. It started with a recruiter call, which was normal. But then it got weird. They wanted me to do a super long, scripted mock call with someone. That got rescheduled, and I had to meet with a different person. On the day of the rescheduled call, the interviewer was late, so the interview got cut short. I had to schedule another time to do the same mock call again. Overall, it felt like they didn't respect my time and were probably dealing with a lot of internal chaos. If you're looking for a professional company, this process wasn't it. My friend had a much better experience a couple of years ago, but he's not there anymore.
- Can you describe your previous sales experience?

Sales Development Representative
My interview with The Pipeline Group was really great, super fast and smooth. Everything went by quickly, which was awesome – no waiting around. Everyone I talked to was super encouraging and made it feel like a normal chat, not scary at all. First, there was a recruiter call, which was chill and easy. Then, I did a mock cold call, and it was tough but the interviewer gave good tips and we worked on it together. The last interview with the COO's main person also had another mock call, and they were really supportive with feedback. They were upfront, respectful, and seemed genuinely keen to help us do well. I was really impressed with how professional they were, their vibe, and how organized everything was. Honestly, it was one of the best interviews I've ever had – quick, positive, and the team seemed to really care about people.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered and overcame a professional challenge?
Sales Development Representative
The interview process was very efficient and well structured. I started with an HR screen with the HR Manager in London, where expectations were set clearly and the process was explained transparently. The next two rounds were role plays with a Sales Enablement Manager in the local market. Each call included two role plays in different languages for the Bilingual SDR role supporting TPG’s entry into the European market. After each role play, I received specific, actionable feedback, and the summary from the 2nd round was especially helpful for preparing for the 3rd. Overall, the experience was very positive, and even though I did not receive an offer, I felt the process was fair, transparent, and a good reflection of the role. TPG seems like a solid place to start a career in tech sales.
- Are you realistic about what awaits you in an entry-level SDR role (lots of volume, high activity targets, you need to be consistent)?
- Do you prep well for the role plays?
- Are you coachable?
