Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The NPD Group.
Operations Associate
It was a thorough process with multiple screenings and assessments. After that, I had online interviews with different departments. I spoke with several interviewers who are heads of different departments. This gave me a good understanding of the various functions and roles and what they entail.
- What sparked your interest in our company?
Operations Associate
I filled out an online application and then went through 3 long and pretty unnecessary interviews. I spoke with the hiring manager and then the department manager. After that, I got a phone call about a week later.
- Can you tell me about yourself and what motivates you to apply for this position?
Operations Associate
There was a screening group interview first where you found out about the company and had to fill out a questionnaire. Then, I was called back to do an individual interview where I had 2 separate interviews. Each of these separate interviews had 2 interviewers.
- What are your thoughts on the responsibilities of an Operations Associate?
- How do you typically handle confrontational situations?
- In what ways can your past experience be beneficial to our company?
