First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The N2 Company.
Area Director
The interview process was very informative and I felt comfortable the whole time. Angie was very nice and I enjoyed talking with her about the opportunity. She made sure I understood everything and didn't know and didn't mind me asking questions with all the information she gave.
- How would I be a good fit for this role?
Ad Operations Coordinator
The Linkedin job posting advertised for an Ad Ops Coordinator, but the company is actually seeking a Facebook Ads Specialist. This lack of clarity led to a waste of time for applicants. While the HR representative seemed well-intentioned, the overall impression of the company was negative, echoing sentiments from other reviews that suggested avoiding this opportunity.
- What would you do in this specific Facebook ads scenario?
Area Director
The phone interviews were scheduled for a specific duration but consistently ran over the allotted time. Subsequent calls were arranged to connect me with local Area Directors through the local Sales Director. However, this connection never materialized. I promptly questioned why the Sales Director hadn't reached out, but received no response. Weeks later, a different individual, not the Sales Director, attributed the situation to a miscommunication and inquired about my continued interest. There was a lack of clarity regarding the commission payment structure and the terms of employment remained vague. Throughout the interview stages, both in emails and a corporate video, a tone of arrogance was evident. Phrases like 'we only select the best' and 'we're very picky about who we hire' were used, seemingly to portray the company as unbeatable. Their inability to acknowledge competitors and refusal to concede that digital media could impact their business revealed a significant oversight, making it impossible for me to engage further when they attempted to reinitiate the interview process.
- What is your plan for financial support during the initial growth phase?
Sales Director
I applied on LinkedIn and got a call from a recruiter. They had me watch some videos to make sure I was still interested. After the videos, I had my first interview with that recruiter. If they think you're a good fit, they'll send you to interview with a sales director, who is the one making the final decision. For every interview, I had someone I'd call my 'leader'. The phone interviews were pretty chill, no crazy curveball questions. They mostly wanted to see if I'd fit their company culture. I got the offer on my fifth interview and I'm set to train in Chicago a few weeks later.
- Can you tell me about your previous experience?
- What are your long-term professional aspirations?
- What would people you've worked with most recently say about your ambitions?
