Chemical Engineer
Met at a career fair and was offered an interview the next day on the spot. There was one person from HR and a mechanical engineer present. The interview was very relaxed. It took a long time for them to respond, I was convinced I wouldn't hear back, but they eventually called and offered me a spring co-op position, covering housing expenses.
- Tell me about a hardship you overcame and how you improved.
- What has been your favorite course so far?
Chemical Engineer
I got this interview opportunity from a campus career fair. They conducted an on-campus interview that lasted about 30 minutes and involved three interviewers. There were no technical questions, only behavioral ones, and the interviewers were very friendly. I didn't hear back for about a month.
- Tell me about your favorite class.
- Which class did you like the least?
- Can you share an instance when you received unclear instructions and explain how you managed the situation?
Chemical Engineer
I applied online for an entry-level engineering job and an HR rep called me a day after to schedule a phone interview. The HR rep asked mostly behavioral questions. At the end the rep told me that there was only higher level engineering jobs and they would contact me later.
- What motivates you?
