Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Lockwood Group.
Project Coordinator
I applied at a college career fair and then the HR manager contacted me. The first round was a thirty minute phone call where they asked a lot about my background and college career. Then I had an in person interview with the same HR manager, the senior project coordinator, and the operations manager. The process was easy, but the operations manager talked a lot and asked some strange questions that were kind of hard to answer in my opinion. This company seems really picky about who they hire.
- Can you tell us about a time you resolved a conflict?
- What are your passions?
- Tell us about your background and college career.
Project Coordinator
I went through several phone and in-person interviews. Everyone I met was really friendly and they mentioned my experience seemed to align well with the role. The whole process lasted about a month, with a lot of back and forth, but ultimately, I was informed they decided to move forward with another candidate.
- Can you tell me about a challenging situation you faced at work and how you handled it?
Project Coordinator
There were a few rounds of interviews to see if I'd be a good fit for the recruiting team and potential team matches. It took about 2-3 weeks and around 9 calls. I met with some people more than once, which depended on whether I was a match for the first team I met or if there were other open positions.
- Tell me about how your past experiences can be applied to this role, considering it's an entry-level position and how it shows your work ethic.
