First there was a phone screen, really quick, asking about skills and availability. Then an in-person interview, lasted about an hour. Some general questions, then you watch a class, and then more questions. Oh, and you have to sing.

These were very lovely people to talk to. Honestly, the most enjoyable interview I've ever had in how much we laughed about our teaching experiences. First we had a phone interview going over qualifications and experience, then an in-person interview with different questions on how I would handle certain situations and then shadowing a lead teacher in class to get a feel for what it's like to teach - they told me they do those interviews with the 3 year olds to see how well you'll /survive/.

I applied via snagajob and got a call from the regional director about a week later to come in for an interview with my resume. The director liked me and invited me for an in-gym interview, asking me to wear comfortable clothes. Upon arrival, I was given a Little Gym shirt, shown the class, and the station I'd be demonstrating. The manager observed and took notes during this in-gym session. Afterward, I was brought to the office for a few questions and told they'd be in touch. Then, I had a second in-gym interview with three other applicants. We did station demos and then met with the owners and managers individually. They dismissed me after about 15 minutes, saying I'd get a call in a few days. The regional director called to inform me I was hired.
