It was a quick, easy, and friendly interview process. I met the owners and got to shadow a class. Overall, it was a relaxed vibe. Just be yourself, and everything should be fine. I enjoyed the whole experience and didn't feel any stress.

I applied via snagajob and got a call from the regional director about a week later to come in for an interview with my resume. The director liked me and invited me for an in-gym interview, asking me to wear comfortable clothes. Upon arrival, I was given a Little Gym shirt, shown the class, and the station I'd be demonstrating. The manager observed and took notes during this in-gym session. Afterward, I was brought to the office for a few questions and told they'd be in touch. Then, I had a second in-gym interview with three other applicants. We did station demos and then met with the owners and managers individually. They dismissed me after about 15 minutes, saying I'd get a call in a few days. The regional director called to inform me I was hired.

I thought it was going well until the owner of the gym I interviewed for started to make me uncomfortable. I wanted it to go well - I did research and was truly interested. When I got there I filled out an application and everything was okay. From there on out it gave me an odd vibe. People were in and out of his office without knocking or respecting our private conversation. He frequently made sure to tell me why I was wrong when answering questions about myself, ultimately destroying any confidence I had. He then asked what the difference between skill and talent were. I stated that skills can be taught but talent is something that you’re born with. He stated that he disagreed with the skill aspect and then made a comment about a child’s body type and that not everybody can be taught. From then on out I had mentally checked myself out and decided that this was NOT the place for me. While my experience was not so great - I do believe there are better franchises out there that promote the true belief of the little gym. I am disappointed.

First, submit your application. Then, a phone interview with the owner will test your creativity and wit. If that goes well, you'll have an in-gym interview and shadowing session. This part checks your willingness to work, how good you are with kids, and how outgoing you are. After that, you'll get a personality test to see how you learn best and what your personality is like! Then, you'll get an email saying congrats on the job and setting up your initiation meeting with the owner.
