the interview was super quick and straight to the point. The interviewer was really chill and understanding. They told me about the work vibe and setting, which helped me quickly get what it's like working there, what makes a good dishwasher, and how to do the job easily.

I got the lead from a third-party recruiter. The first interview was with someone who would be a peer. It felt pretty good, and I got a sense of the company culture. There was a long wait, then the second interview was set up really fast. This one was also pretty good, and the interviewer seemed focused on how I'd fit in socially and at after-work events. Weeks later, the recruiter told me about another round. Then they said the feedback was good, but they wanted to interview more people who might be a good fit. A few days after that, I saw the job posted again, but with a lower salary range even though the required skills were the same.

The interview was pretty chill, just the manager on duty sat me down with my resume. They called me in at a specific time. They asked about my customer relations experience. I mentioned my military background and how I'm a team player and professional, and that those skills are important for a server and can be learned. I also said I'm friendly and engaging. The manager seemed pleased with my vibe and personality. We then talked about pay, expected hours, and their shift schedule. They offered me a start date and I scheduled onboarding before my first shift to shadow.

I applied online and got a call a few days later to set up my first interview, which was a couple of weeks out with a GM. About a week later, I had another interview with a GM, but at a different location this time. After that, I had to complete a long online test for personality and skills. A week or so after the test, I interviewed with the Regional Operations Director at yet another location, and then I got an offer the very same day. I didn't find out which store I'd be training at until a couple more weeks later, and it turned out to be a location where I hadn't interviewed. (The company likes to shuffle managers around.) All the people I interviewed with were really nice, and we had back-and-forth chats about my past experience and why I was interested in the job. They asked a lot of questions about specific situations, not just the usual "what are your strengths/weaknesses", and so on. I think it's worth noting that managers dress in business attire, so you should dress the part for your interviews. Think a dress, a nice skirt or dress pants, a smart blouse, a blazer (definitely suggest this), and dress shoes/heels.
