Behavioral Case

Applied on LinkedIn. A week later, HR reached out for a first round interview scheduled for the next week. The interviewer ghosted me and never called. After emailing HR, the interview was rescheduled for the following week. I had the interview, which was a great and informative conversation, though the interviewer didn't apologize for ghosting me. Two weeks after the interview, I was invited for a second round interview with some tough behavioral questions and a case study. It took three weeks after the second round to get my decision, which was a rejection via an automated email. It felt disrespectful to get an automated rejection after two hour-long interviews. The whole process took 8 weeks, which is too long.

It was pretty easy getting in since I was referred by someone who works there. I sent in my application online and then got an email from HR. I had a short chat with HR first. After that, I had a phone interview with management. If that went well, they'd invite you for an in-person interview. I got a tour of the office and then met with two people for interviews: the overall manager of the team and the person who would be my supervisor. They talked about my skills, what I know about the company, and why I'm interested in working there. It was a really nice experience overall. I usually get super nervous for interviews, but they made me feel really at ease. I can't say enough good things about Hershey!

I put in my application on the internet and then a manager from the office rang me. A few days after that, I had a conference call with five people from the Global Shared Services team. They hadn't hired interns in this department before for the summer, so they wanted to know about my previous experience and what I was interested in so they could figure out where I would fit in best. About a week later, they called me back to tell me I was one of the five people they picked for the whole department.
