It was a super chill and quick interview. Nothing weird, just standard retail questions about working hard, getting along with others, and team play. The store manager ran it and was really laid-back and friendly, making it all feel easy and simple.

We did a group interview and then a one-on-one. First, we all got in a group to introduce ourselves, and then you had to introduce someone else and say why they'd be good for the job. After that, we had a group discussion about what stuff we'd bring to an island and what we'd prioritize. They let us know after that who would go to the one-on-one interview. The one-on-one was about: 1: flexible days, location. 2: what do you think Christmas season mean to people? 3: why good guys.

It was a very interesting interview with questions that valued a young person's perspective. They asked about my education and future plans. They wanted to know if I was motivated and would take initiative. They also asked about my availability and hours, and what other university students do for part-time work.

It was a double Zoom call with two ladies, both interviewing from home. They showed up 30 minutes late and one interviewer had her noisy kids in the background because she was in her kitchen. They were nice, but it made the company look bad.
