The Warden interviewed me. They called me in the next day after I applied. They asked interview questions and then showed me around the prison. The Warden told me I would meet with him after the tour. I finished the tour, but he wasn't in his office. His secretary told me they would be in touch the same day, but I never heard anything back.

This hiring process was pleasant, efficient and professional. I was able to contact Heather (HR) by phone or email with any questions that I had before the initial interview. The people that interviewed me were very knowledgable and answered all of my questions with ease. I felt comfortable with the DON from Florida and Donna (DON -MCMHF/Conroe) to the HR department. This organization seemed very organized in their hiring process. The number one thing that stands out to me was their friendliness once you walked through the door. I was impressed with the personel that I came in contact with while going through the interview process. Everyone appeared to be committed to doing a good job and work ethics are important to me. I am looking forward to beginning this job very soon and be part of the GEO-GROUP.

It took a while to get hired, a few meetings happened before they made an offer. Communication wasn't great between admin and medical recruitment about when the new hires could start. This whole thing added an extra month to the process.
