Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The CMI Group.
Call Agent
I had a 1:1 meeting where the interviewer asked me some questions that felt a bit irrelevant to the job, kind of unnecessary. She asked me to speak Spanish to check my fluency and we also talked a bit about the career I'm aiming for. Overall, the interviewer was pleasant, but the questions themselves were a bit off.
- What are your life goals?
- How would you handle a call with a customer who is angry?
- Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Customer Service Representative
You just walk in and fill out an application. If you don't have any warrants and can speak some English, you're in. Then you wait for a call after the drug test.
- What are your future aspirations?
Call Agent
The interview process was super chill, like I got an interview the same day I applied, and I didn't even have a resume or anything. The recruiter was really cool. The office itself is nice and professional, but man, I hated how cramped the desks were. Seriously no room to even stretch, I hated that part.
- What makes you the right candidate for this position?
