So I had two interviews for the R&D Intern role. They asked me stuff about my background and resume. They also asked some technical questions, like how I'd design experiments for a product or what features I'd add to reach a specific consumer market.

Behavioral Technical

I first chatted with two recruiters from Clorox at my school's career fair. They did a sort of pre-screening, where the first asked about my resume and experience. Then, a second recruiter did a quick technical interview where I had to analyze one of Clorox's products. Later that day, around 8:30 PM, I got an email asking me to drive an hour for an interview the next morning at 9:00 AM. This interview lasted an hour and had two parts: the first was purely technical, involving hypothetical scenarios about their products. The second part was a mix of standard behavioral questions and more technical ones. A few weeks later, the interviewers contacted me about an offer, but five weeks after the interview, I got a rejection email. Some of their actions were pretty unprofessional, like telling me about the interview just 12 hours before, their communication after the interview was misleading considering the outcome, and the long wait for a rejection after such a tough process was unfortunate.

I had an interview with 2 engineers from different locations. It was a casual, conversational chat. The recruiters were very friendly and seemed to be assessing my personality along with my answers. They both took notes. They also asked me about my location preferences.
