Behavioral Case

So the process for this marketing role was pretty standard. It involved some behavioral questions and a case study. They asked things like if I would launch a certain product, how I'd generate demand for a brand, and to discuss a brand with good marketing.

Behavioral

I applied through my school's MBA career resource website and got an email from the recruiter within 24 hours. I was out of the country for 3 weeks on business, so I scheduled a chat for when I returned. I spoke with the recruiter on the phone for over an hour. She then asked me to interview with one of the marketing directors, and they scheduled that call for the next day. After speaking with that director for about an hour, he asked me to speak with his counterpart. He said they would contact me to set up a time. The next day, I got an offer from the recruiter via email. I had some questions, talked them over with the recruiter, and accepted the position within a week.

Case Behavioral

I went through an on-campus interview as part of the MBA recruiting cycle. The process overall was quite smooth because the school helped facilitate it. The interviewers were tough, though not as tough as they are in consulting recruiting. The focus was on case-like questions, with a few behavioral/fit questions thrown in, and there was some time at the end for my questions.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • As CEO, what company would you acquire next and why?
