The interview was pretty straightforward, with detailed questions about your background and previous employment. They're mainly checking to see if you're reliable. If you're okay with working weekdays, you'll get the job.

I talked to a woman who seemed to lack the necessary skills and proper communication for an interview. It felt rushed, like they urgently needed to hire someone. She briefly described the company but didn't inquire about my qualifications or experience, despite my extensive background in this field. My background check wasn't conducted, which is concerning as it means they could have hired criminals due to the ease of getting the job.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • The manager didn't ask any professional interview questions, it was very informal, just a brief company overview. The interview had low-level skills. I just said I wanted to work, and they said ok, you're hired. When do you want to start? That was it, no questions asked to be more explicit. It was kind of weird.

Behavioral Presentation

It was super quick. They had me fill out an application asking for my previous three jobs and three references. Once I gave it to the interviewer, she told me to wait in the lobby while she checked it out in her office. I could hear her talking to the other person there, but couldn't really hear what she was saying. When she came back out to me, she looked really unhappy. She told me that after looking at my resume, she saw I used to be a receptionist and figured I was 'used to sitting', so I wouldn't be a 'good fit' because this job is 'hard work'. I'm perfectly healthy and I thought it was unfair of her to dismiss me just because I've done office work. It's crazy. They turned away a dependable, hardworking person with a car because of her assumptions. After all that, she still went on to describe the job and said she'd check with her supervisor to see what he thought. The pay was also less than some other cleaning jobs.
