The interview process was pretty simple. You just fill out a paper application, and then they interview you right away. They ask a few questions, like if you have a car and a license, and what days you can work. Then, you watch a video about the cleaning tasks for the job.

I talked to a woman who seemed to lack the necessary skills and proper communication for an interview. It felt rushed, like they urgently needed to hire someone. She briefly described the company but didn't inquire about my qualifications or experience, despite my extensive background in this field. My background check wasn't conducted, which is concerning as it means they could have hired criminals due to the ease of getting the job.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • The manager didn't ask any professional interview questions, it was very informal, just a brief company overview. The interview had low-level skills. I just said I wanted to work, and they said ok, you're hired. When do you want to start? That was it, no questions asked to be more explicit. It was kind of weird.

I got to the franchise office on time but the door was locked, which was weird. I called the number and got through to corporate, who said the interviewer was on an emergency but would call back in five minutes. The interviewer eventually called and arrived, then took me to a basement office. They gave me an application and we sat at a table, but then they had to take a call that echoed around the office. I finished the application and we went over it, then I asked about allergies and asthma. The interviewer said they'd never had that before and thought it might be a bad fit. After that, they said the next step would be working the job for a day, and I'd get a call by Tuesday if they were interested. Then I left.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Would you have a problem with starting work at 7:50 a.m. for the daily meeting, given your previous response on the application?
  • What could be done to accommodate your indoor allergies, or what accommodations could you make?
  • Might your allergies be a reason this job wouldn't be a good fit for you?

I tried to reschedule my interview because I couldn't make the original time, but they said they couldn't do that and insisted everything had to be done online. They weren't flexible at all and mentioned they have tons of applicants. The receptionist was nice, but the manager was rude. It's frustrating because things happen, and their inflexibility doesn't make sense.
