The recruiter emailed to set up a meeting and I had to send my resume. Then I met the manager, who asked me some questions and told me about my strengths, and gave some advice for my future. The interview wasn't that long.

The interview process started with a get-to-know-you chat with three people, pretty informal. They asked some questions based on the job description, which I answered like my application. Mostly, we just chatted. The second interview, with the same three people, was where I got the offer. I had to do a presentation about the Product Management process. Then, one interviewer put an Excel spreadsheet scenario on the board. I figured out the answer, using a 'V-LOOKUP' table, and that seemed to be enough for him.

  • There was an Excel spreadsheet scenario presented, and I had to determine the correct use of a 'V-LOOKUP' table to solve it.

It was a one-way recorded video interview, which felt a little awkward. There were only 3 questions asked. I couldn't ask any questions about the job, culture, or benefits. I think this part of the process is meant for you to decide if the job and company are a good fit for you, not just for them to decide if they want you.

  • Describe a typical day in the life of a Product Manager.
