Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Customer Service Representative
The interview process was pretty straightforward. I applied and they said they'd reach out when a spot opened up. A month later, I got an email asking me to call the supervisor to schedule an interview. I called and we set it up for the next day. The interview itself was laid-back, and the people interviewing me were pleasant and friendly. After that, there was an online test assessing customer service skills, which wasn't too hard, even though I don't have previous call center experience.
- Can you describe a situation where you had to learn a new process and outline the steps you took?
- Tell me about a time you dealt with a conflict with a coworker.
Customer Service Representative
There were two interviewers, a senior supervisor and a senior co-worker. I had some time to talk freely, but they also had some basic interview questions prepared.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
Customer Service Representative
The interview process is pretty simple. Dress in a suit for the interview. Make sure you do your research about the job. You'll most likely interview with 2 team leaders. They'll have your resume with them. Remember the things you wrote on your resume. They'll ask questions about it. Also, they notice your interpersonal skills and the way you respond to their questions. Also, they make you take a test in which you have to listen to a call and write down what the customer is saying in a clear way. The test will ask you questions about the call and will grade you. They'll also have you take a typing test.
- Can you share an instance where you disagreed with management and describe your actions?
- Listen to a call and summarize the customer's statements clearly.
- Respond to questions regarding the recorded customer call.
