I went through multiple rounds of interviews with folks from the department and also did a big design test. The whole thing took about a month. The HR person was nice but kept making it seem like I was gonna get the job. After I interviewed with a VP, I had to ask about the status. They didn't offer me the job because they wanted more management experience, which is something they could have figured out way earlier. It felt like a waste of my time. Just a heads up to graphic designers applying to TCP: they don't recognize good design talent and give false hope.

I put in my application online and had to do an assessment. Then I was called in to interview with the ASM. After that, the SM called me in for another interview and said I met the management criteria, so they set up a phone interview with the DM.

The hiring manager described their expectations and the daily duties. A decision was promised by the end of the week, but then changed to mid-week. When I called on Monday, I was told, 'I told you, if I didn't call you, then we moved on.' This contradicts the mid-week decision timeline. It seems like a promotion from within was already decided, making the process a waste of time.
