We had a few rounds of interviews with people on the team, then a case study to do. After that, I had to present it to some senior leaders. They asked me questions and I had to answer them right there.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

It was a pretty typical interview process. The HR team was responsive when I was scheduling. I went through one or two superdays where I met with 8 or 9 people before my final case study. After they checked my references, which went well, they told me they were going to offer me the job but had to sort out a few internal details. They said I'd hear back from the HR recruiter within 4+ business days. Four months after the verbal offer, I found out the role was put on hold indefinitely. They didn't try to keep me updated or engaged during this long wait, even though I was the only candidate they were considering for an offer. It was super disappointing. On the other hand, the team and interviewers were awesome – very personable and easy to talk to.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

First, I had a phone interview with the headhunter to discuss my past experience and suitability for the role. After that, resumes were sent to the employer. Those selected then had to complete a brief LBO test. Passing the LBO test led to a case study assignment, where I had to identify the strengths and weaknesses of certain deals and suggest investment points within the capital structure. Finally, there was an interview with the entire team (VP and above), including a presentation of my case study to one of them.
