I applied for the job of AM and very quickly got an interview with an executive. Without a referral, my resume obviously spoke for itself. I have 20+ years experience. They shared about the company and I shared insights on my experience, how I handled challenges and ideas I had for expanding business. I didn't get the job, which is fine, but the way they handled it was so cold & cruel. After the interview, I sent a thank you note. No response. Then I receive a 'good luck on your next adventure' email from HR (auto generated?) This is fine if you've never met me, but you did. You spent time with me & still didn't treat me like a human. For a company that is diverse & woman focused, I dare say I walked away feeling like my age was the issue. If you don't want that impression, please do better with rejections. (reading the other reviews sounds like i dodged a bullet)

Behavioral Presentation

The hiring process kicked off with an initial chat on Google Meet. Although the interview seemed to go well, I noticed the questions didn't touch on my resume at all and there were no follow-up questions. Near the end, I was asked if I'd do a take-home assessment for a fake client. They nudged me towards creating 2 videos and 1 static post for two social platforms, which is what others have apparently been asked to do. I spent the weekend creating the content and writing a summary explaining my platform choices and audience targeting. A few days later, I got a generic rejection email that felt unprofessional and wasn't even addressed to me. I tried to get feedback on my assessment by replying and reaching out to the interviewer directly, but I never heard back.

Got an email to set up a virtual interview. After I picked a time, they asked for my resume and two references again. Kinda weird since we hadn't even talked yet. The interview itself was super short, like ten minutes and then it was over. Then, within a day, my email was added to their marketing list, and I got a promo email from them. And then, within 48 hours of the interview, I got a standard rejection email. Not a great way for a company to get people on their mailing list.
