Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Black Sheep.
Campus Ambassador
The interview process is simple, easy, and laid back. Make sure to be enthusiastic and make yourself seem adaptable and ready to take on any problems that may arise during a campaign.
- What makes you a suitable candidate for this role?
Campaign Manager
The interview process had three rounds of interviews, followed by a job shadowing opportunity, after which I would be added to the hiring pipeline. I was added to the hiring pipeline at the beginning of May. In June, they contacted me to confirm my interest. In July, I was informed that final decisions would be made by the end of that week. It is now almost the end of August, and they have completely ghosted me, which feels like a waste of my time. I would not recommend investing any time, energy, or effort into interviewing with this company. Very rude and disrespectful.
- Can you tell me about a difficult situation you encountered and how you handled it?
Campus Ambassador
Really quick and super informative call! We explained The Black Sheep, the role, and the campaign, then asked some interview questions. Make sure you know your availability for the upcoming semester beforehand!
- They asked about your availability and if it would fit with the campaign schedule.
- They confirmed if you'd be comfortable approaching students during events.
- They inquired if you have transportation on campus.
